The Adopt a Scientist Campaign will be raising $100,000 over the next 3 months to hire a data analyst scientist with expertise in signal processing, statistical analysis and a background in geomagnetic and solar processes. For this vital position your gift today will fund a year’s salary; and cover other expenses that will be incurred in extracting, organizing and analyzing this data among other responsibilities.

Why does the Institute of HeartMath need a Scientist? IHM is researching the interconnections between humans and solar and geomagnetic influences. Over the past three years we have been busy collected volumes of data from GCI’s four sensor sites. Their state-of-the-art magnetic field detectors collect a continuous stream of data generated by geomagnetic and solar disturbances and other activities. We now need to analyze that data and see what it is telling us. It is clear that invisible magnetic influences emanating from the sun and Earth profoundly affect life on Earth. It is well established that numerous physiological rhythms in humans and global collective behaviors are synchronized with solar and geomagnetic activity. A disruption in these fields can adversely affect human health and behavior.

The Global Coherence Monitoring System will provide a better understanding of the mutual interactions between humans and our global environment. Funds are being used to design, build and maintain the Global Coherence Monitoring System to research the relationship between the earth’s field and human heart-rhythm patterns or brain activity and determine if this field can pre-indicate planetary events such as 9-11 or natural disasters.
